These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and AHMEDMEDIAGROUP (“AHMEDMEDIAGROUP”, “we”, “us” or “our”). They govern your use of our website ahmedmediagroup.com and our apps Travelyfe (on iPhone, iPad, Mac and at travelyfe.com) and Convertable (on iPhone, iPad and Mac) (together the “Services”), and they are the end-user licence agreement (“EULA”) for our apps.
In short: use the Services lawfully and respectfully, you own what you create, paid features renew until you cancel, and nothing here takes away your legal rights as a consumer. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these Terms.
1. Accepting These Terms
By downloading, accessing or using any Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services for a business or other organisation, you confirm you may accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that organisation.
2. Who We Are
AHMEDMEDIAGROUP is the trading name of AHMEDMEDIAGROUP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, and an independent app studio based in Crawley, West Sussex, United Kingdom. Our company number and registered office address are on the public Companies House register and are available on request. You can contact us through our contact chat. If we need to contact you, we will use the email address linked to your account or the one you gave us.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to use the Services, and old enough to form a binding contract, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to make purchases. You must not use the Services if the law prohibits you from doing so.
4. Your Account
Some Services require an account. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from our failure to keep it secure. Tell us promptly through our contact chat if you suspect unauthorised use. You can delete your account at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Licence To Use Our Apps
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to download and use our apps on devices you own or control, and to use the Services for your own lawful purposes. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. Updates we release are covered by these Terms unless they come with their own.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights, including their privacy and intellectual property;
- post or share content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, spam, or that exploits or endangers children;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection with anyone;
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of a Service, except where the law allows;
- scrape, crawl or access the Services by automated means, except through the public interfaces we publish for that purpose (our robots.txt, llms.txt and MCP server) and within their stated limits, or interfere with, disrupt or overload them;
- try to gain unauthorised access to any account, system or data, or probe or bypass our security;
- upload malware or anything designed to harm devices or data;
- use the Services, or their output, to build a competing product or to train AI models;
- resell, rent or commercially exploit the Services without our written permission.
7. Your Content
You keep ownership of everything you create, upload or submit through the Services (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Services and to provide the features you use, including showing content you choose to publish or share to the people you share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups and content others have already saved.
You confirm you have the rights needed to share Your Content and that it complies with these Terms. We do not review everything, but we may remove content or restrict features where we reasonably believe content breaks these Terms or the law, and we will tell you why where we can.
8. AI Features And The Website Assistant
Some features use artificial intelligence, for example to read places out of a video or page you import into Travelyfe. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, so check it before relying on it, especially for anything time-sensitive or safety-related. You are responsible for the content you choose to submit to these features, and they only run when you switch them on. Our website assistant is automated and can be wrong, so treat its answers as general information, not advice, and check anything important with us. Please do not type or say passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive personal information in the chat or in voice mode. A message you choose to send to our team is an enquiry, not an offer or a contract: nothing is agreed until we confirm it in writing, and we may decline any request. We may monitor use of the assistant to keep it safe and to prevent abuse, and we may limit how often it can be used. How your data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy.
9. Purchases, Subscriptions And Billing
- What you get. Some features are paid, for example Travelyfe Pro, sold as a subscription or a one-off lifetime unlock, and Convertable Pro, sold as a monthly or yearly subscription. The price, billing period and what is included are shown before you buy.
- In the apps, purchases are made through the Apple App Store and charged to your Apple Account under Apple’s terms.
- On the web, purchases are processed by our billing provider RevenueCat and its payment processor. Prices include VAT where it applies.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel. For App Store subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends in your Apple Account settings; for web subscriptions, cancel from the link in your receipt email or by contacting us. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Price changes. We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
- Free trials and offers. If we offer a free trial or discount, its terms are shown when you start it. Unless you cancel before a free trial ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
10. Cancellation And Refunds
- App Store purchases: refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Your right to cancel web purchases. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days after buying digital content or a digital service to change your mind. Because paid features unlock immediately, when you buy we ask you to agree to immediate access and to acknowledge that you then lose this right for digital content; for a subscription you can still cancel within 14 days, and we may deduct an amount for the time you have used it.
- If something is wrong. If a paid feature is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced and, if that is not possible or does not fix it, to some or all of your money back. Use our contact chat and we will put it right.
- Otherwise, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires, and we do not give refunds for partly used subscription periods after the cancellation window.
11. Third-Party Services And Links
The Services work with or link to products and services run by others, such as Apple, Google, Viator and social media platforms. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or actions. Your use of them is at your own risk.
12. Intellectual Property And Feedback
The Services, including their software, design, text, graphics, logos and the names AHMEDMEDIAGROUP, Travelyfe and Convertable, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not use our names or logos without our written permission. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely without paying you or owing you anything.
13. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content in the Services infringes your copyright or other rights, use our contact chat with: your contact details; the work you say is infringed; where the content appears (a link if possible); a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you own the rights or may act for the owner. We will review it promptly, may remove or disable the content, and will let the person who posted it respond.
14. Availability And Changes To The Services
We work to keep the Services available and secure, but they may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces a paid feature you have bought, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and receive a refund for any period paid for but not used. If we discontinue a Service, we will give reasonable notice where we can and help you export your data.
15. Disclaimers
We provide the Services with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, and from your legal rights, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, and we give no other promises, for example that they will be uninterrupted or error-free or will meet a particular need. Information in the Services, including travel information, is for general guidance and may be out of date (Section 23).
16. Limitation Of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for losses to any business, trade or profession of yours, or for losses caused by events outside our control. If digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content belonging to you because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or compensate you.
If you use the Services for business, we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim, or £100.
17. Indemnity
If you use the Services for business, you agree to compensate us for any claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, Your Content or your infringement of someone else’s rights. This section does not apply to consumers.
18. Suspension And Termination
You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if we must by law, or to protect other users, us or third parties. Where reasonable we will warn you first and explain why, and you can contact us if you think we have made a mistake. If we end your access for reasons other than your breach, we will refund any period paid for but not used. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on liability and intellectual property, survive after these Terms end.
19. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as failures of networks, hosting or third-party services, power cuts, natural disasters, war, strikes or government action. We will tell you where we can and do what we reasonably can to limit the effect.
20. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Services or the law change. We will change the “Last Updated” date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you do not agree to the changes, you can stop using the Services and cancel any subscription before they take effect; continuing to use the Services afterwards means you accept them.
21. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.
- Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation, for example if our business is sold, and will make sure your rights are not reduced. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
- Severability. If a court decides part of these Terms is invalid, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Third-party rights. No one else has rights under these Terms, except Apple as set out in Section 25.
- Language. These Terms are written in English, which is the language that applies.
22. Governing Law And Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there, and you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live. If you use the Services for business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you have a complaint, please use our contact chat first; most issues can be sorted out quickly.
23. Travelyfe
Travel information. Travelyfe helps you plan trips, but it is not a travel agent, tour operator or booking platform, and it does not sell travel. Opening hours, prices, weather, maps, directions, visa and entry information, and details imported from videos or web pages come from third parties or AI and can be wrong or out of date. Always check important details, including safety advice and entry requirements, with official sources before you travel.
Bookings and affiliate links. The tours and activities shown in Travelyfe are listed by Viator, a Tripadvisor company. When you open an activity listing or a “Book” link, you leave Travelyfe for viator.com. These are affiliate links: we may earn a commission on bookings made through them, at no extra cost to you. Any booking you make is a contract between you and Viator, and Viator’s own terms apply to it. Travelyfe does not process the payment or the booking, and questions about a booking, its cancellation or a refund are for Viator.
Sharing and Explore. If you publish an itinerary to Explore or share it with a link, other people can see it, and you must not include anyone else’s personal information without their permission. We may remove shared itineraries that break Section 6.
Credits and licences. Travelyfe is built with the following data, artwork and type, used under their licences:
- OpenStreetMap: opening hours, trading status and landmark names © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL).
- Apple Weather: weather conditions are provided by Apple Weather. Data sources.
- Apple MapKit: maps and place search, under the Apple Developer Program License Agreement.
- Photography: destination photos from Unsplash, Pexels and Wikimedia Commons, under the Unsplash License, the Pexels License and CC BY-SA respectively; each photographer keeps the rights to their work.
- Phosphor Icons: icons by the Phosphor Icons project, under the MIT Licence.
- Livvic: typeface by LV=, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
OpenStreetMap place data. Travelyfe keeps a copy of place data taken from OpenStreetMap, which we may adapt and combine with other data. That copy, and any changes we make to it, remains available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL) 1.0. On request, we will provide a machine-readable copy of it, or of the changes we made to the original OpenStreetMap data, under the same licence. Use our contact chat. This does not change the terms that apply to Travelyfe itself, to itineraries, or to any other content in the Services.
24. Convertable
Your files. Convertable converts files on your device. You are responsible for the files you convert and for having the right to convert them. Converted files can differ from the originals in quality, size or formatting, so keep your originals until you have checked the result.
Accounts and Pro. You can use Convertable without an account, within its free allowance. An account is needed to buy Convertable Pro, which is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription through the Apple App Store and is covered by Section 9 (Purchases, Subscriptions And Billing) and Section 10 (Cancellation And Refunds). How your data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy.
25. Apple App Store Terms
The following additional terms apply to any app you download from the Apple App Store, and you acknowledge and agree that:
- These Terms are between you and AHMEDMEDIAGROUP only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- Your licence to use the app is limited to a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Any support questions should be directed to us through our contact chat.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses are our responsibility, not Apple’s.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer-protection or similar claims.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and resolving any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party’s intellectual-property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist-supporting”, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the app.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
